Living in Belper, our community

This page has copies of our neighbour newsletters that are delivered to local houses by volunteer parents and information about local clubs and community events. If you offer a community service, are running a community event or would like to share some community information that will help our children and their families please feel free to let us know on the form below and we'll add it to this page.

Please be aware that St. John's has no affiliation to any of the clubs listed below and has not done any safeguarding or insurance checks on any staff or facilities that any of the clubs use or have.

Belper Marlin Swimming club

Belper's local swimming club swim at Belper Leisure centre. Join the Marlins if you would like to keep fit, improve your swimming, make friends and have fun.

Children can join from all ages and adults can swim with the masters.

 

Belper Sports Football Club

The two documents below provide information on how to get in touch with this local football club. 

Saturday morning Badminton

 

Every Saturday morning at Belper Leisure centre, 8am to 9am for children aged six to sixteen years. Please get in touch with the coach Andy Waumsley. All the contact details are on the poster below.

 

Christians against poverty

 

Run by local families and churches for local families experiencing financial difficulty.

Special Friends

A group of friends that meet to support families that have children with additional needs. There playgroup is on the 2nd Wednesday of each month during term time at 9.45am at Belper Children's Centre, Alder Road, DE56 1LP.
