Home Learning

Hello all,

In this area you will find work set by your year 2 class teachers to complete whilst at home. We will post some work by 9 O'Clock each day. There will be two different activities to complete; these can be done in your home learning books.  Look out for some exciting challenge work you could do too!

We have put together a special pack for you, which has an exercise book and lots of useful things.

These include:

heart  Some useful maths sheets to help you

heart  A 'Pawsome Gang' bookmark with lots of questions your grown up can ask you about your book

heart  Some sheets to help with your writing, including a list of tricky words you need to be able to read and spell

It is really important to keep practising your times tables and reading, so please continue to read at home and use TTrockstars to practise your times tables. Remember you can read anything; your school reading book, home story books, cereal packs and lots more.  As for the moment you are unable to change your school reading books, why not ask a grown-up to sign up for Oxford Owl Home so that you can practise your reading.  It is free - they just have to put in an email address and create a password.

Go to https://home.oxfordowl.co.uk/

If you need to ask your teacher anything, a grown up can contact us through the contact form on our class page.

Working at home will be different to what we are used to, but we are sure it will also be quite exciting.  We look forward to hearing all about the wonderful learning you will have done at home.

Remember to be kind and look after one another.

Take care,

Mrs Astell, Mrs Robinson and Mrs Wojcik smiley

I have started a blog on my class page to keep you smiling!smiley

Just like Mrs Wojcik, I have started to write a blog so that I can keep in touch with you whilst we are not in school.

Please go to our class page - Glossop to read it!
