Musical sounds and words

Here is a fun way to practise your sounds and tricky words. Write some outside with chalk, jump on them and when the music stops you have to say the sound that you are on. You could play it inside by writing some sounds/words on paper and jumping from one to the other.

Literacy

Today we are revising the  'or' digraph. Here are some words to help you:

for

fork

cord

cork

sort

born

worn

fort

torn

cornet

Now watch Geraldine the Giraffe learn the 'or'  digraph.

You could finish by writing a list of 'or' words in your book  and drawing a picture next to the word. Choose one to write a sentence e.g The cork went pop. The fort is big. The fork is sharp.

Alternatively, you could complete one of the 'or' worksheets.
