Money

Can you label some toys, or things from your kitchen cupboard, with prices e.g. 1p, 2p, 5p, 10p. Have a 'shop' and buy items with pennies. If you have not got any pennies at home then just make some pretend ones out of paper or use something like counters.

If you want  a challenge you could buy two items and add the amount together.

If you buy an item for 10 pence can you find different ways of paying for it e.g. 5p and 5p. Your work on Easter egg number bonds to 10, from Friday, should help you with this.

Try this money powerpoint from Twinkl resources. The first few pages are using pennies. After that, it gets trickier so just choose the pages to do that you want to try.
