Completing work

Sometimes, things happen (e.g. a car breaking down!). If for some reason you are unable to complete the work on the day set, please do not worry. You do not have to complete it all at the same time - you could spend some time in the morning and some time in the afternoon. You could also catch up with any missed work at the weekend. yes

To anyone struggling with today's comprehension, don't worry! It is very similar to comprehensions we do in class. Open it up, read the text and then try to answer as many of the questions as you can. There is also a beautiful reading of the story that you can listen to.

Work in your Home Learning books

We know that some of you busy bees have been working really hard at home to complete your tasks and are concerned that you might use up all of the space in your Home Learning book, so we have a few tips:

-don't stick any sheets in, as this may use up more space than is necessary, write your answers instead;

-practise your handwriting. The neater you write, the less space you are likely to use;

-you could try calculations on a scrap piece of paper first then treat your Home Learning book as a 'neat' copy. We don't mind mistakes at all, but this might help you to save space.

We have also been asked about collecting a new Home Learning book. We would rather you and your families stay at home at this time to keep you all safe. We hope that the tips above will help you to keep your Home Learning book for longer.
