It's Not A Stick! It's a ...

A huge thank you to all parents and grandparents who came into our classrooms to look at our fantastic 'Bright Lights, Big City' work.

Tim Peake tweets a picture of the UK from space!
We have enjoyed trying to identify London on the picture! If you click on the picture it will take you directly to Tim Peake's 'Cosmic Classroom' session where school children were asking him lots of different questions about life in space. We have really enjoyed looking at some of his 'space tricks!'
A Reply from London Zoo!
Dear Miss Olk’s Year 1 class,
Thank you very much for sending your email to ZSL.
Firstly it’s great to hear that you’ve chosen to research our zoo and animals! As much as we would love to answer your queries however, the questions that you have attached, although very interesting, are too broad and wide-ranging for our staff to answer comprehensively for you unfortunately.
In order to help answer some of these questions however, I would recommend doing some research about the animal species that we have, and the conservation work that we do to help protect them by exploring our website.
Apologies if this was not quite the response you were hoping for, but I wish you all the best of luck with your research!
Kind regards,
Rob Durgut
