Year 6 RE teaching is planned using the Derbyshire LA Agreed Syllabus for RE programme of study, which sets out the requirements for RE teaching at each stage of education.
The Derbyshire Understanding Christianity syllabus was introduced in 2017 and Christianity is taught using the units of work from this.
The units from the Derbyshire Agreed Syllabus are used to teach other religions and to teach areas that are not covered in the Understanding Christianity syllabus
