We hope that you enjoyed giving your opinion on animals yesterday. Today, you will be practising your column addition and subtraction skills to add and subtract volumes. You can choose your own level and mark it yourself using the answers on Page 2. As in class, if you find a level too easy or too hard, you can change. If you have any difficulty, refer to your resource pack or contact us for more support. Want more? Check out your challenge!
*1litre (l) = 1000millilitres (ml)*
so 1.5l = 1500ml,
0.5l = 500ml
and 0.250l = 250ml
I hope you are enjoying the poem. Yesterday you should have begun to draft your poem about Belper. Today you are going to write up your final poem. I have posted a template below if you wish to use it. If you have already done this, there is a second task on the PowerPoint.
Don't forget you can share your poems with your class teacher!
Miss Thompson and I smiled lots yesterday when we saw your fantastic creations for theme 3: something that you enjoy looking at. Use the link below to explore the images. If you missed it, you can still send us your gallery entry - just remember to label it as theme 3. Here is a reminder of the rules:
-we will set the theme by 9am that morning.
-you need to draw, paint, model or photograph something that represents the theme.
-e-mail us a photograph of your creation by 2pm on that same day.
-please check with an adult that they are happy for you to enter.
-please only show the item in the photograph.
Miss Thompson and I will upload all of the photographs together in the 'Your Achievements' section so that you too can have a giggle or a smile at what other children in Y3 have created.
If you have not yet contacted us to send in your photographs, send us a message through the contact forms and we will send you a way.
