Task 1: Maths

Today's maths involves using the times tables and the inverse to divide numbers.

Example: 3 x 5 = 15, so 15 ÷ 3 = 5 and 15 ÷ 5 = 3

Try to complete the sheet. If you have any difficulty, refer to your resource pack or contact us for more support. As in class, if you are finding it too easy/hard, you can always change. Want more? Check out your challenge!

Lucinda has 48 chocolates. She needs to organise them into rows to place them in a box. Investigate: How many different ways could she arrange the chocolates? How do you know that you have found all of the ways?

Simpler version: use 16 chocolates.

Task 2: English

Hello all, I hope you are all getting on okay. Did you spot the missing punctuation from the task yesterday? For today's task, I would like you to look at the picture of the river bank and use the table on the PDF to help you think of some adjectives to describe it. Let's see how many 'wow' words you can think of. To upgrade your adjectives you could use an online thesaurus or see if somebody at home can upgrade your words.

Today's task will help you for your task tomorrow. Keep going, you are doing an awesome job!
