Begin by practising reading your phase 2 and 3 sounds. If you are confident with phase 2 sounds, you can move straight to phase 3 sounds. Well done.

Today we are revising the ur digraph. Here are some words with the ur digraph:

Great, now can you think of any other words with the ur digraph? Now have a go at writing some sentences with the ur digraph. Well done!

 

There are three tasks below. Do the one you are able to with a little help. Don't worry if you find some of it easy, its still good practise to read! Task 3 is a bit tricky, have a go at reading the words. Can you tell which is a real or nonsense word? Well done for all your hard work today!

Warm up

Begin by counting and number recognition. Using your 100 square start with counting in 1's to 20. Can you count above 20?  

Now have a go counting back from 20 to 0. Now start at a random number and count on. For example from 6, 8, 13, 14 etc

 

.Now complete Task 1 or Task 2. Task 2 is bit more challenging. Choose the one which you can complete with a little help.

Count how many altogether. You can draw the pictures in your book and then write the answer or print of the worksheets.
