Weather Music & Dance

Music - Can you make the sounds of different types of weather, or levels of rain from raindrops or drizzle to shower and downpour?  You can experiment with body sounds, clicking fingers, clapping hands and stamping feet, getting louder and faster. Explore speed and volume, getting louder or quieter.

P.E. - Perform a dance, whilst making the sounds. Maybe you could use streamers, ribbons, flags or bags to perform a wind dance?

You might like to include tip-toeing, stomping, twisting and twirling high and low, rolling and leaping. Think of ways to show words like tossed, swirled, drifted, tipped, glided, tumbled, blown and swept away in your movements.
