Task 1: French

This week, you will be writing short sentences to give your opinion about animals in French. I wonder if you can work out what this means: J'adore les canards! There are also some extra games and stories to explore. Click on the link at the bottom of this section to take you there.

If you have any difficulty, you can contact Mrs Winson-Bushby through her contact form in the French section for more support.

If you have time, you might also like to check out Reverend Anne's exciting weekly Collective Worships, each of which contains a fun activity for you to complete. Link below!

Task 2: English

I hope you enjoyed your personification task. Today you are going to gather some ideas to write your own version of the poem. In your version, you will be talking about Belper. Work through the PowerPoint and enjoy today's task :)

Task 3 (optional): Daily Challenge!

Miss Thompson and I smiled yesterday when we saw the things that make you happy in theme 2. Use the link below to explore the images. If you missed it, you can still send us your gallery entry - just remember to label it as theme 2. Here is a reminder of the rules:

-we will set the theme by 9am that morning.

-you need to draw, paint, model or photograph something that represents the theme.

-e-mail us a photograph of your creation by 2pm on that same day.

-please check with an adult that they are happy for you to enter.

-please only show the item in the photograph.

Miss Thompson and I will upload all of the photographs together in the 'Your Achievements' section so that you can have a giggle at what other children in Y3 have created.

If you have not yet contacted us to send in your photographs, send us a message through the contact forms and we will send you a way.

Good luck!

Theme 3: Something that you enjoy looking at.
