Wow! What a journey. We landed at Dubai airport where airport staff were waiting to escort us to the shuttle bus as the plane was ready to take off. It was another four hours until we final reached Kolkata at 7.30am this morning.

It was wonderful to see the bright colours, the busy streets and the wonderful staff of CRS. Rig David had come to welcome us at the airport and take us to our accommodation.

We finally arrived at the Bishop’s Inn at 9am where we had time to unpack, have a shower and a short nap before lunch at 12.30pm.

After lunch we walked through the busy streets of Kolkata to the CRS offices to meet the staff before visiting a Jain and Hindu temple. We also visited an eco park where it was wonderful to see families spending time together.
