Week 1
Well done on a fantastic first week at St. John's, I am really proud of you all!
The children have settled wonderfully into new routines, including enjoying their first school lunch which was delicious. It was wonderful to meet all your mice too, they have such gorgeous outfits! Cas the Cat and Milly Mouse was also very excited to meet them all this week. Well done Castleton Cats, I know we are going to all have the most wonderful time this year and learn lots of exciting things along the way.
Another classroom friend we met this week was Mr Potato Head who has also been helping us learn how we need to sit when we are on the carpet. Eyes looking, ears listening, lips closed, legs crossed and hands still. If we want to answer we have to put up our hand and wait! If we forget, Mr Potato Head shows us how.
We then made listening ears and went for a walk around school to listen to the sounds around us. A jam packed week of fun! Well done Castleton Cats.
