At St John’s, we nurture curious, confident and enthusiastic young scientists from the very start of their learning journey. Through hands‑on exploration, high‑quality teaching and opportunities to investigate the world around them, children develop a strong understanding of scientific ideas and a lasting love of discovery.
We ensure Science is practical, inclusive and connected to real life, encouraging pupils to ask questions, test ideas and think critically. From Nursery to Year 6, we build firm foundations by helping children to observe closely, work collaboratively and communicate their findings with growing independence.
