Week 5
This week in Reception, we have been exploring the wonders of space!
The children have been learning about star constellations, discovering what it might be like to visit the moon and designing their own moon buggies. We also found out how astronauts clean their teeth in space and enjoyed listening to stories read by real astronauts from the International Space Station.
In RE, we have been learning about special people in the Bible.
This week, we explored how Jesus was a friend to many and how he performed miracles through the story of The Feeding of the 5000. To help us reflect on sharing and kindness, the children baked their own bread to share together.
