We are very pleased that OFSTED have provided us with a copy of our December 2017 report and that we are able to share it with you before the Christmas break. The report highlights lots of the good practice that happens every day at school and I am very pleased that all of the hard work done by all our staff has resulted in us having this recognised by OFSTED. It is particular pleasing to read that

  • We have maintained our good status

  • The good work taking place in our nursery was recognised

  • Children’s behaviour and attitude at lunchtimes and throughout the rest of the day was consistently good and often exemplary

  • Our work in improving standards in reading maths and the results of disadvantaged children is proving successful

  • Our self-evaluation and school improvement plan are robust and are leading towards further improvements

  • Our strong Christian values are prominent in helping us develop children to become responsible adults

  • The two next steps for the school are already being addressed through our school improvement plan, which was shared on our website in September 2017.

Our most recent inspection was a Section 8 Inspection in December 2017. A copy is below, where you will also find links to all previous inspection reports and other relevant information from the Department for Education.

Parents of children at St. John's are able to tell Ofsted about us. Click on the link below to be taken to the Ofsted parent view page. You will need to register with an email address and then the questionnaire will ask for your opinions, with a choice of responses, on 12 aspects of life at St. John's. Thank you.
