Hello!  I'm Mrs Heer and I will be one of your class teachers this year!

  I will be teaching you on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

This will be my tenth year at St. John's!

I have previously taught in Year 1, Year 2, Year 5 and Year 6.

I really enjoy teaching in Year 1!

Out of school, I spend lots of time with my little boy - he is one and a half years old and keeps me very busy! We like to cook together, go for long walks and bike rides and read lots of stories (our favourite is 'The Hungry Caterpillar').

I have really enjoyed spending some time together with you in our new classroom this week - you have really impressed me with how grown up, polite, sensible and funny you all are!  I'm sure that we will have the best year together next year :).

Hi,

My name is Mrs Taylor. I have worked at St. John's for nearly twenty years and love being a part of this school. Before moving back to Derbyshire, I taught in a school in Kent. I have taught in nearly all the year groups at St. John's and I can't wait to start teaching you all in Year One. 

I love Derbyshire and spend most of my spare time walking or cycling around its beautiful countryside. I have two children who also enjoy doing anything outdoors. We like getting away at the weekend and either camp or take our caravan. We've been to Pembrokeshire quite a lot recently and love playing on all the different beaches.

I enjoyed meeting you on your transition day and I look forward to learning all about you.
