Monday:

Learn about the number 6.

Find groups of 6 objects around the house. Can you find 6 on anything around your house? Practise writing 6.

Tuesday:

Use objects to find 1 more/less from number up to 6. If you are confident with this then try up to 10. Use a number line to practise counting on and back to 10. Play a board game where you have to move on or back e.g. Snakes and Ladders

Wednesday:

Collect groups of objects. Compare the groups. Which group has more/fewer? Complete the worksheet.

Thursday:

Here are some more fun ideas to compare amounts. Choose an activity.

Friday:

Make a patterned Elmer the Elephant. Talk about the colours you have used. Are there any repeating patterns? Can you make a repeating pattern using collage or objects? E.g. lego bricks.
