Mrs Carvell
Unfortunately we have 11 children in year 1 away with a sickness bug today. We hope that they all get well soon.
With this in mind can we please remind families of the importance of keeping children off school if they have been sick for a further 48 hours after the child last vomited. This is very important to prevent the risk of transmission in school.
Thank you - we appreciate your support in this important matter.
Updated at 10.15am on Monday 14th June
For the parents and families of children that will be starting in reception in September 2021.
We had hoped to share information today about our planned children transition mornings on on the 29th and 30th June and our planned parent meeting on the evening of June 24th.
We are postponing this decision until the government have confirmed when we will move to stage 4 of their planned easing of lockdown restrictions, CLICK HERE and any changes in advice to schools, CLICK HERE.
We will share any information on this website as soon as we have it and hope that this will be within the next couple of days.
Updated - Friday 11th June 8.15am
We have been informed this morning that a child in year 6 has tested positive for COVID 19. This child was in school on Tuesday and Wednesday the 8th and 9th of June.
With this in mind we are closing the year 6 bubble as children will have to isolate for 10 days.
Any year 6 child in school on Tuesday 8th or Wednesday 9th June needs to isolate for 10 days. This isolation period finishes at 11.59pm on Saturday 19th June.
More information will be published later today about remote learning.
