Week 1
This week the children have started their Ready, Steady, Grow project. We looked at a selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, we even chopped them up and ate them for snack time! The children were excellent at trying new foods.
We also started our Pathways to Write, when we introduced our new story ‘Hattie Peck The Journey Home’. There were footprints leading to a suitcase containing the Hen’s belonging. We also made a cracked egg, the same as the ones in the book.
In maths, we have been matching the correct eyes and snacks to the monsters. The children did an excellent job of careful counting and number recognition.
