Admissions to reception in September 2021
This information was updated on 28.9.2020
Children start primary school in the reception class in the September after their fourth birthday. Therefore, if your child was born between September 1st 2016 and August 31st 2017 they will be able to start primary school in September 2021 in one of our three reception classes.
Unfortunately to help keep us all safe, all Belper primary schools are following local authority advice and not offering tours of our schools for families starting school in September 2021. We are sorry that families and children are not able to come and have a look at St. John’s and hope that you understand why this can’t take place. We have had to cancel the tours that we had planned and have started to contact families that had booked places on them to apologise.
We understand what an exciting time this is for your child. Mr. Averis and the staff and children at St. John's look forward to meeting you as soon as it is safe to do so. Over the coming weeks we will be continuously adding information to our special September 2021 starters page to help families find out more about our friendly school.
