Google Classrooms

We have started to put the Year Five home learning on our Google Classrooms and are delighted that so many of you have been using it and submitting your work to us.  From Monday all of the Year 5 work will be here, so if you have not yet managed to get onto Google Classrooms, please get in touch so that we can support you with this.  All Year 5 children have their usernames and passwords in their reading records and accessed their Google Classroom account in school in December.

You can contact both Mrs Astell and Mrs Newton via the Contact Form on the Parwich and Ockbrook class pages if you have any issues with Google Classrooms and we will get in touch with you as soon as we can.  We are teaching children in school, so will respond when we are able to.

This is a new way of sharing the learning for us all.  Please bear with us as we work hard to get the best out of this fantastic resource.

The Government's expectation is that primary aged children will complete between 3 and 5 hours of school work every day.  We will indicate how long we expect each task to last.  We also want to give feedback to support the children's leaning so it is important that the children submit their work.  This can be via a sheet we send out or a photograph of their work.

From Monday, we will share the timetable of what the children in school are learning and when the learning is taking place.  If at all possible, please could you ensure that your child completes the lesson at the same time as the children in school.  This will help us to answer questions as they crop up.

If you require the class codes they are:

Parwich - 4zzpvlw

Ockbrook - uezw3et
