Muck, Mess and Mixtures

This week we started our next topic Muck, Mess and Mixtures. On Thursday morning we had a 'messy morning'. We made our own potions and uses our senses to describe lots of different mixtures!

This week we have been talking about healthy eating. We talked about meals that we enjoy and how we can make sure they are healthy. Here are some of the meals that we created:

This week we have been looking at an artist called Carl Warner. He creates landscapes by using food! Here are some pictures of our 'foodscape' creations!
W/C Monday 23rd November
This week we have been working with salt dough. We have investigated how we can the shape of the dough by twisting, bending, squashing and stretching. We also made christmas decorations to put on our class christmas tree.
W/C Monday 30th November
This week we had a 'art afternoon' we all had a go at three different activities: coffee filter prints, shaving foam marbling and bubble wrap printing. We also decorated our salt dough baubles.
