At time of writing our year three children are on the bus on the way back from Magna having enjoyed their day at the museum.
I have been asked by the coach company to pass on their apologies for the mistake with the bus they sent to St. John's this morning to take our children on their school trip to Magna. Unfortunately, they sent a coach without enough seats for all the booked children and staff to travel on. This wasn't realised until our children started to get on the coach at about 9.30am.
The driver realised the mistake their company had made and rang through for a larger coach to be delivered.
As soon as the correct sized coach arrived the children were able to get on their way for their day at Magna at about 10.15am.
Whilst waiting for the correct bus to arrive the children were safe in school with teachers.
