School Days
This project teaches children about their own school and locality, both today and in the past. They compare schooling in the Victorian era to their experiences today.
Year 1 invited Mr Averis to talk about the history of St. John's primary school.
We ordered events from the history of St. John's, on a timeline.
We learned about the artist, James Rizzi. He inspired us to create our own artwork! We were very proud to invite our parents to school so show them our art gallery.
We designed, prepared and made a salad. We used tools carefully to chop, slice, grate and peel the ingredients.
