COVID vaccines and Christian Aid
Giving thanks for our vaccines in Derbyshire
The Diocese of Derbyshire is supporting a Christian Aid programme where people in the UK that have received the COVID vaccine are invited to make a donation to help other receive it in less fortunate communities around the world.
On launching the appeal in Derbyshire, Bishop Libby said: "The vaccine brings with it hope for families and communities across the Diocese of Derby, the UK and around the world, and there will be many of us who will want to express our gratitude by helping others."
Mr. Averis said: "It's exciting to invite our St. John's community to get involved and help others less fortunate than ourselves and help our global community become a safer place for all."
