Homework

Y5 Homework

Each week, throughout Year 5, the children will have homework. Homework will be set by the class teacher and may sometimes be in their homework books or using a variety of online resources/platforms.

 

  • Homework will be set each Friday

  • Homework will be due in on a Thursday

  • Spelling tests will be on a Friday

  • Reading records to be handed in on Thursday, signed at least 5 times per week by an adult

 

Children will be expected to complete their Maths and English homework each week, learn their weekly spellings and read five times per week.

 

Homework may sometimes be on certain websites or online platforms, such as:

  • Google Classroom
  • Maths.co.uk
  • SPAG.com
  • TT Rockstars

(Children should have their logins for these websites and platforms inside their Reading Records)

 

If you have any questions regarding homework, please contact your child's class teacher by calling the school office.
