Mrs Badhan

My name is Mrs Badhan.

I am an Early Years Foundation Stage class teacher having qualified in 2005. Prior to that, I worked for a number of years supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities in mainstream education including bilingual work with EAL children. I also have experience teaching children in Key Stage 1, (Years 1 and 2). I am passionate about my work and love teaching in Early Years. I started supply teaching last year and have worked at St John's since January 2020 in the new Foundation block. The indoor and outdoor environment is fantastic for children to have fun, learn and thrive! I am really excited and looking forward to September and to meeting all the children in Castleton class as their supply teacher. I am also looking forward to working with the EYFS team to ensure a smooth transition for all. If you have any questions or queries please message me through the contacts form at the bottom of this page.

A little bit about myself...

I have lived in Derby for most of my life and we have three grown up children and two young grandchildren; Aasha and Elijah, who are delightful and very active! Elijah lives in America so we visit whenever we can. In my spare time I love to cook, listen to music, go on long walks and watch a good TV drama!
