What are Safe Streets?

The safe street initiative supports communities in temporary closing streets to traffic to allow the space to be used for other initiatives such as play, community events and safer journeys to school. We are using the initiative to help us enjoy the walk to school more with temporary road closures on parts of Laund Nook to school traffic at the beginning and end of the day.
