What a brilliant start to our project and what a crazy busy week! We started the week going on a treasure hunt as we had been left an old map and clues to find the treasure chest and our new pathways to write book "The Pirates are coming!".
We loved looking at their special treasure boxes they had made over the holiday and sharing their treasures with their friends.
We also had a surprise with the two new giant African Land snails that have come to stay with us in reception. The children will be learning how to look after them and will be able to hold them.
We also had a special delivery from Professor Scout of some fossilised dinosaur eggs. We don't know which dinosaur laid them but we are going to try and find out over the half term.
The children had a wonderful afternoon at forest schools this week. Professor Scout had left us some dinosaur eggs. We then had to hunt for our own dinosaur egg and make a nest to hide the eggs from the four T rex 🦖 dinosaurs that wanted to eat them.
We have also had a great time playing bingo this week and the children were creative making puppets and performing a puppet show to their friends.
