Week 1
What a brilliant start to our project and what a crazy busy week! We started the week going on a treasure hunt as we had been left an old map and clues to find the treasure chest and our new pathways to write book "The Pirates are coming!".
The children created their own pirates maps and built ships outside. We loved looking at their special treasure boxes they had made over the holiday and sharing their treasures with their friends.
We also had a special delivery in forest school from Professor Scout of some fossilized dinosaur eggs. We don't know which dinosaur laid them but we are going to try and find out over the half term.
The children had a wonderful afternoon at forest schools this week. Professor Scout had left us some dinosaur eggs and a story to read. We then had to hunt for our own dinosaur egg and make a nest. It was wonderful to be in the sunshine having snack outside.
We have also had a great time playing bingo this week!
