This week has been explosive!
We have been learning about volcanos and the investigating how we could make one using cola and mints and vinegar and bicarbonate of soda.
The children worked really well in teams sharing the resources and trying to make the biggest volcano they could. We also played the floor is larva and used ribbons outside with music to create larva flows.
Thank you to all the parents and grandparents that came to the welcome service at St Peter's, the children sang their songs brilliantly and started to build a church with your help - Well done Buxton Bears!
Friday we all dressed in red for Red Nose Day, we enjoyed a cake outside and celebrated 40 years by doing 40 star jump, tried to be quiet for 40 seconds and also helped to clean up litter around reception by seeing if we could find 40 pieces of rubbish.
