Week 4
To start the week, we have been looking AB patterns. They had a great understanding and were able to complete the pattern.
To continue with our AB patterns, the children collected natural objects from the playground. We then went back to the classroom to make our patterns. The children did a fantastic job and understood the concept of repeating patterns.
We also watched Mrs Armitage The Queen of the Road and spoke about the Marvellous Machines we saw. The children then enjoyed creating their own car and talking about what went wrong in the story.
In literacy, we have been sequencing the story “I’m Going to Eat this Ant”. They were able to tell me the story and sequence the images correctly.
