Week 4
The temperature has also dropped inside the classroom and this week we have been learning about ice!
We investigated ice balloons and tried to rescue the explorers and penguins that were trapped inside.
We also had great fun investigating and exploring how we could keep the ice from melting by using different materials. We listened to Winter by Vivaldi and thought carefully about what it reminded us of. We then tried composing our own icy music and investigating the musical instruments.
In pathways to write we were exploring how the main characters moved in the creek by creating an obstacle course that we could clamber, hop, swing and balance on.
