Week 5
What a great last session this week!
The children learnt all about lighting and making a fire today using a flint and steel.
We had enjoyed drinking hot chocolate, toasting marshmallows and using charcoal to draw with.
A fantastic way to end our forest school adventure!
One of our parent helpers even had some chick time and cuddle before we began.
The children have loved having the chicks in the classroom and seeing how much they have changed and grown. We started the week with 'chick time'. The children were able to hold them and then used their experience to write about them and the life cycle of the hen.
