Week 6
Christmas is coming in nursery. The children have enjoyed decorating their snowmen and counting the buttons.
For project we have built our very own robot! The children listened to the story, The Robot and the Bluebird and then worked together to create a friendly robot. We spoke about a name and what his job was going to be.
We have been sequencing and singing the animals from Old McDonald had a farm. The children enjoyed performing the song using the stick puppets. They were very good at making the animals sounds and using a clear voice for their friends to hear.
In maths, we have been consolidating our learning from this term. We have been making matching pairs and counting the right amount of buttons to the numeral on the snowman’s hat, using Christmas themed resource.
