Week 6
This week we have been exploring rainbows. We read the story of the colour monster to explore our feelings and the children have loved drawing their own monsters to show me how they are feeling.
We also learned about the symbols of Easter and tried hot cross buns.
The children have also loved sharing their ocean animal projects you have helped complete at home. They were all wonderful and we are grateful for the time you spent creating them.
We finished off our project by making a new type of dinosaur…a weather themed dinosaur. The children created a name and told me if it was a herbivore, carnivore or omnivore.
We also had a brilliant time at forest schools on Friday in the lovely sunshine. We read the book “The garden, the curtain and the cross” that the PTFA kindly gave to each class and we made our own crosses. We also worked in teams to make 2D shapes and played games.
