Week 6
This week we started to explore light. The children have enjoyed going into the dark den with the torches to see if objects are shiny or dull and which reflect the light.
We have also started looking at poems about minibeast for our pathways to poetry. In our maths we have investigated squares and rectangles, using shapes finders to hunt for shapes in our classroom. We also made sandwiches sequencing the events correctly and using first, then, next and finally to describe what we were doing.
The main event of the week has of course been our Nativity! The children were so proud to perform for you and we were so proud of them for their wonderful singing, acting and speaking. We hoped that enjoyed watching it and were able to take photographs to capture the wonderful memories made.
