Be Active

Being active is important all of the time. There are plenty of things you can do to be active, both indoors and outside in the garden.

Now I know that Mr Hallam has given you MILLIONS of wonderful ideas and things to do, so I am not going to try to re-invent the wheel here, but I will post a few links as we go along (and I suspect he might give me a hand!) The most important thing is to engage with being active, to enjoy exercise in a healthy way, and to see the benefits in the way you feel! 


The health benefits of gardening are impressive. Gardening uses all the major muscle groups. Legs, shoulders, stomach, arms, neck, and back all get a workout. Gardening also increases flexibility and strengthens joints.  So, get out and give it a go!
