Today you are going to begin writing up your adapted story, which you boxed up (planned) last week.
We will continue to write it up, back in school, on Thursday and Friday, so DON'T write it all today! We are looking for quality, not quantity, or speed of writing.
Adults - The teachers usually model the writing, using a class plan, getting ideas from the children of what to do / not do. Then the children write up their own section. At each stage the children review what has been done and improve it as they go. At a later date they will then write a 'Finding' story completely independently.
