St. John's Step Challenge 3

Hi everyone! Back in the summer, as a school community, we completed some amazing step challenges. Children in school and families at home counted their steps from walking, running and having fun to see if we could complete some mega step challenges...have a look below!

Now, we are back for Step Challenge 3!

Can we walk from Belper to the North Pole to see Santa? laugh It is 2500 miles from Belper to the North Pole so we need to do a lot of stepping.

Together, we need to achieve 5 million steps! 5,000,000 is a lot!

How can we do this then?

1. You and your class could count up your steps when doing the daily mile

2. You could wear a Fitbit or step counter and count up how many you do each day

3. Your teacher could get involved too!

4. You could go walking or running outside of school and count them up too!

If you do any steps at home and want to email them to Mr Hallam, please get in touch via the contact form on his Year 4 class page or tell your teacher who can record them at school!

Let's see if we can get all the way to the North Pole by the time we come back after the Christmas holiday yes

Thanks, Mr Hallam
