We had a wonderful start to the week and our new project. The children spent most of Monday outside enjoying the school grounds and garden. We began by reading a story "Errol's garden" and then used spotting sheets to find flowers, birds, insects, plants and trees.
We then had a break for PE and lunch which was a picnic outside on the grass.
In the afternoon we went outside again to draw our favourite natural objects, make nature crowns and magic nature wands.
We finished our time by laying on our backs and listening to the sounds of nature around us - truely magical!
We also welcomed some new tiny caterpillars to the class. We will be watching them grow over the next few weeks and adding more pictures.
