Week 1
This week we started our project by thinking about where we live in Belper by going on a local walk virtually to explore our local community due to the heavy rain. We then created a pictorial map of our journey including things we had seen on google earth maps
We also thought about where in the world would we like to visit. Does the country have a hot or cold climate?
The children have also loved our maths work this week. We have been learning our doubles and we have played lots of different games. We had a wonderful time at forest school following a simple map and finding numbers we needed to double, we also had a repeating pattern race game and used ten frames to double natural objects using numbers 1-5
