Week 1
This week we started our project by thinking about where we live in Belper by going on a local walk to explore our local community. We had to spot different features on our walk and even visited the local shop to buy a treat. We then created a pictorial map of our journey including things we had ticked off on our spotting sheets.
We also thought about where in the world would we like to visit. Does the country have a hot or cold climate?
The children have also loved our maths work this week. We have been learning our doubles and we have played lots of different games.
