Week 1
What a fantastic start to the half term!
We’ve had a busy and exciting first week back. The children arrived to find mysterious clues in the playground—and soon discovered that the Three Little Pigs had been trying to build their houses!
Everyone looked brilliant in their costumes for our fairy tale dress-up day. We explored the characters in different stories, discussing who were the heroes and villains, and the children drew their favourite fairy tale characters with great enthusiasm.
The children also went to their first whole school Collective Worship in the hall where Mr Averis introduced this term's Value for Life - Courage. I was so proud of how well they sat and listened so carefully.
Later in the week, we learned about Bonfire Night and experimented with paint to create colourful firework pictures.
A great first week back - well done!
