Week 2
This week we have been learning about plants and flowers focusing on 'sunflowers'.
The children have planted their own sunflower and we have learnt the names of the different parts of a flower.
The children have used different techniques to make sunflowers including printing and collage.
Our caterpillars are growing nicely and the children enjoy looking at them and seeing how they move.
In RE we were learning about stories of Jesus. We read the ‘calming of the storm’ and looked at different art work of the story. We then created our own artwork using lots of different media and materials.
