Week 2
This week we have started our journey around the world by visiting Antarctica and India. We have recapped our previous learning on Antarctica and then learnt about India and our friends at Scott Lane School.
In maths, we have learning about shoring and grouping objects equally. We shared biscuits equally together - they were delicious!
We have also been using the bee bots and programming them to get from Antarctica to India.
In forest school we learnt about the tiny tea cups that are used in Kolkata we made a huge fire and collected natural materials to make our own chai tea. We then each created a tiny tea cup out of clay.
On Thursday afternoon Rev Elliot visited us to teach our RE lesson all about the Christian creation story and how God created order from chaos. The children then drew their favourite part of the creation story.
