Week 3
This week we have continued to learn about the three little pigs story and the children are writing some amazing words and captions using the graphemes they have been taught. It was also our very first time at forest school and we all absolutely loved it!
We also had a letter from the Three Billy Goats Gruff! The troll had smashed the bridge down and the children had to work in teams to build a new stronger one. The children worked together in teams using lots of different resources to make their bridges! We also spent time building bridges outside too, practising our positional language and seeing if we could cross them ourselves!
We have also been shape detectives this week looking for circles and triangles. We explored and used materials to make our own Kandinsky inspired picture. We also got to finish our diva lamps by painting and adding lots of glitter - they look amazing! Another fantastic week Castleton Cats.
