Week 3
To start the week the children have been exploring the balance scales. The children chose different objects around the room and tested to see which one was heavier and lighter, it turns out that Mrs May’s shoe was the heaviest!
We have also planted some wild bird seeds for our ready, steady, grow project. Lets see how they grow, we watched short time lapse video of a seed growing and how the roots grow first.
We have started an experiment, we have put four seeds in different places (in the fridge, in the cupboard, outside and in the window). We read Jasper’s Beanstalk and spoke about how long seeds take to grow! I will keep up you to date with the progress.
