Week 4
On Tuesday we had a very exciting delivery of 10 eggs and an incubator! Over the next two weeks we will be looking after and caring for the chicks that hatch out!
By the end of the day, 2 chicks had already hatched out and the children were very excited!
At the end of the week we have 10 very fluffy and happy little chicks that have hatched out! The children have spent lots of time looking at the chicks and asking lots of very good questions!
We can't wait to see how they continue to grow!
The sun also came out this week and the children had lots of fun learning and exploring in the outdoor provision.
The chicks enjoyed their weekend away at Mrs Wojcik's house. They spent a lot of the time either sleeping or eating and amused Mrs Wojcik and her family all weekend. Mrs Wojcik's daughter-in-law seemed to have the magic touch and stroked them gently until they fell asleep in her hand! They are all ready to return to school in the morning and see the children.
