Week 5
This week we have had a fantastic time learning all about space! We have looked at the very first voyage to the moon by the astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin and how we use moon buggies and space rockets to learn all about space!
We designed and built our very own moon buggies and they looked amazing! The children worked really hard and they were very proud of the moon buggies they created!
We have also looked at some of the amazing pictures taken by the Hubble Telescope and some of us even made our own Galaxy and moon paintings!
In RE this week we have been learning about one of the many special stories about Jesus from the Bible. We have listened to and discussed the story of 'Jesus feeds the 5 Thousand' and the children had some wonderful thoughts about the story.
We then even made our own bread to share in our class!
We also created our own 3D story map of our Pathways to Write book 'Let's all Creep Through Crocodile Creek'!
